How it's made
No needle, no stitches. Just fabric and a groove.
Three clips, nine seconds each. That's the whole technique. There isn't a hidden step.
01Cut it roughly. A little bigger than the shape it has to fill. Precision isn't the point.
02Tuck the edges in. Press them down into the groove and the fabric simply stays put.
03Repeat. Piece by piece the picture fills in, and an hour disappears.
Old shirts, offcuts, a scrap you couldn't throw away. They all work, and the pattern tells you which piece goes where.

Three kinds of beginner. Pick the one that sounds like you.
You do not have to call yourself crafty, and you do not need a steady hand. You need a reason, and any of these three will do.
The one who needs to slow downYou are tired in a way that sleep does not fix
The phone makes it worse and you know it. What you want is something to do with your hands that is not laundry. Twenty minutes, no screen, no app, nothing keeping score. An evening ritual that asks nothing of youSomething finished the same night, not another project waiting in a drawerZero pressure to sell anything or post it anywhere
The one who gives things awayYou want what you hand over to feel made
Shop bought feels thin, and a gift card feels thinner. A framed panel has your evening in it, and it looks like it took skill when really it took patience.Framed pieces for birthdays, weddings and new homesFifty two alphabet designs, so any name or initial becomes a keepsakeChristmas and Halloween sets for the dates that come round every year
The one who has already been askedSomeone has seen one and asked if you sell them
That question is the whole reason the licence matters. Finished pieces are yours to price, list and post. Start with the people who already asked and see where it goes.Sell what you make, at markets, online or to people you knowTwo hundred designs, so you are never repeating yourselfThe one thing off limits is passing on the pattern filesMost people arrive for the first reason and stay for one of the others.

Three reasons it sticks when other hobbies don't.
Kinusaiga has lasted for practical reasons rather than romantic ones. All three of them matter on a Tuesday night.
I’d end up buying a pile of supplies I never use.An old shirt. The offcut from something you hemmed. The scrap you could not bring yourself to bin. Add a piece of foam board and a blunt stylus and that is the whole kit. No thread, no needle, nothing to reorder when you run out.
I never have the headspace for a hobby. The motion is small and repetitive. Cut, tuck, press, move on. Twenty minutes in, your hands know the job and your head stops narrating. That is the part people come back for, more than the finished picture.
I’m not crafty. I’d only ruin it.Nothing is glued and nothing is sewn. If a piece sits wrong you pull it out of the groove and tuck it again. There is no way to ruin a panel, which is exactly why it suits people who would never call themselves crafty.
None of it asks for talent. It asks for an evening and a bag of scraps.

The patterns are the easy part. These three cover everything around them: how to make your first panel, what to buy before you start, and your right to sell, teach and make kits from what you learn.

Your licence, in four plain answers.
Not a separate purchase and not an upgrade. One licence, included free, covering the four things people write in to ask about.
You can sell the pieces you make
Finished panels, framed pictures, card fronts, box lids, ornaments. Sell them at craft fairs and markets, in your own shop, on Etsy, on Facebook Marketplace or to commission.
- No limit on how many you sell and no royalty owed to the creator
- No requirement to credit the creator
You can teach a class or workshop
In person or online. Studios, libraries, schools, care homes, craft guilds, community groups and retreats. Paid classes as well as free ones.
- No separate classroom licence to buy and no extra fee
- Print the patterns and hand copies to your students to work from
- Your students do not each need to buy their own copy
You can sell physical kits
Including boards you have already scored or pre-cut, and kits supplied with fabric, tools or materials.
- A printed copy of the pattern may go inside the kit, printed by you
- The person who buys your kit is buying a kit, not a licence, so they cannot reproduce it to make kits of their own
You can print as often as you like
Every pattern, at every size supplied, as many times as you need, for as long as you own the bundle.
- No print limit, no device limit and no expiry date
- Keep your own backup copies of the files
The one restriction. The physical things you make are yours to sell. The digital files stay with you, which means they are not sold, shared, emailed or uploaded, not even to your own students.
Finished pieces
What a pattern looks like once it's done.
Every one of these began as a printed sheet, a piece of foam board and a bag of fabric scraps. No needle went near any of them.

Before you buy
The questions worth asking first.
Including the two most people would rather find out now than at checkout.
What exactly turns up after I pay?
After payment, you can open your pattern library straight away. We also email you the link. Choose a size, download a PDF and print the pages you need. No account or password is needed. This is a digital download. Fabric, boards and tools are not included. Nothing is posted to you.Can I get a refund if I change my mind?
No. Because the files are delivered the moment you pay and cannot be returned, all sales are final. That is worth knowing before you buy rather than after, which is why it is this high up the list. If something is wrong with your download, email us and we will fix it.I am not crafty. Is this actually beginner friendly?
There is no sewing, no drawing and nothing to measure. You print a pattern, cut fabric roughly to shape and press the edges into the scored lines. If a piece sits wrong you pull it out and tuck it again, so a panel is very hard to ruin. The collection runs from simple shapes with large sections through to detailed designs, so you can start easy and work up.What do I need to buy before I can start?
A piece of foam board, a blunt stylus or similar tucking tool, and fabric. The fabric is usually already in the house: an old shirt, offcuts, the scrap left over from something you hemmed. There is no thread and no needle, so there is nothing to run out of and reorder. What sizes do the patterns print at?
Every design comes in four square sizes: 5″, 7″, 8″ and 10″. Pick whichever suits the frame or board you have. One thing worth checking: set your printer to print at actual size rather than fit to page, or the finished piece will not match the dimensions you chose.Do I need special software to open them?
No. They are ordinary PDFs, so any phone, tablet or computer opens them, and any home printer will print them. Coloured reference images come alongside the outlines to help you choose fabrics, though you are free to ignore them entirely.Am I allowed to sell the pieces I make?
Yes. The licence covers finished physical pieces you craft yourself, so you can frame them, gift them or sell them at markets and online. What you may not do is resell, share or redistribute the pattern files, or fold them into another digital bundle. The artwork stays ours, the thing you made with your hands is yours. Will more patterns be added later?
Yes, and they cost you nothing. New categories get added over time and existing ones keep growing. One payment covers everything in the collection now and everything added to it afterwards, in the same folder you already have access to.Something we have not covered? Send us a message before you buy rather than after.
